Elatha! The literate demon
With jaws like wings
I am the God!
Whose fangs inherit her veins
Elatha! The knight of the moon
With teeth like spears
Who guards this divine soil
There is a place beyond our time
A land of eternal night
Like hounds gather to vomit
The fool returns to his own vice
Flattered by hopes of tomorrow
With knowledge ingrained in steel
Our souls projected from truth
A veil lifted, an island eclipsed
Ancients!
Scour these sanguine skies
Chieftains!
Command the arms of Hy-Braesil
Ancients!
Guard the banks of the lunar emperor
Mystics!
The land of mist is ours to burn
Let the frightened run like water
Withered under hoof
Like drowning molluscs
A miscarriage that never sees the sun
Ancients!
Scour these sanguine skies
Chieftains!
Command the arms of Hy-Braesil
Ancients!
Guard the banks of the lunar emperor
Mystics!
The land of mist is ours to burn
Sail to us now
Sail to me now
Truly there is an almighty of bones
This insular hex commences
Ascending to the phantom island
Strike down the angels of light
Men of stone will fight
Men of stone serve the night
Fear the terror of the night
Lunar arrows rain upon the false
Prowling in shadows and bone
A second moon has risen
Prepare for eternal night

this is excellent black metal composition and the final mixdown of these tracks is a perfect balance between gross LoFI guitar and vocals that are just 'right there' in the mix. crusewielder has definitely captured the cvlt sound without making it feel contrived. I only wish there were more tracks. I will be playing this record a lot and definitely watching to see what else this band puts out. KROM

What an excellent EP to back up A Vast Tomb and make sure everyone knows that great things are to come from Cork. These guys sure have the goods and the guts to make it to the top. mourner

One man Irish blackened-everything metal. Shares with Choir a remarkable ability to combine beautiful hypermelodicism and grimy, crushing heaviness. If you aren’t sold by the time the tapping lead part starts in the first song, I don’t know what to tell you. Excellent. Zachary Gillan
